Managing Director
James joined Tom McNamara & Partners in 2002 and progressed through the ranks of the company to become Co-Owner in 2020, assuming the role of Managing Director in 2022.
James is delivery focused and has significant expertise in leading the programme and cost management and contract administration of complex construction projects, across a wide range of public and private sectors, in both Ireland and the UK. He has a special interest in feasibility studies, viability appraisals and pre-acquisition due diligence in the Commercial, Residential, Educational and Hospitality sectors.
Since becoming Managing Director in 2022, James has overseen the continued, structured growth of the company in all measurable terms, and takes pride in supporting his client’s overall business objectives, by ensuring efficient and profitable delivery of their development projects from inception, through handover, into asset management and ultimate disposal.
James obtained an honours degree in Construction Economics and Management from Limerick Institute of Technology (TUS Limerick) in 2005 and has been a Chartered Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors since 2012.
